Why We Sponsor eTail Connect

At eTail Connect Spring, we spoke to Chris Liversidge, CEO at Corvidae, to see why they chose to sponsor.

Why did you choose to sponsor eTail Connect Spring?

Chris: We have sponsored in the past and chose to rebook because of the engaged audience. All the delegates have been of good seniority, all in the right areas, exactly what we’re looking for. It’s the right decision maker that we’re usually speaking to, and I think there’s an expectation that people will discover something new, innovative, and potentially something that adds a lot of value to what they do. They can return that to their business executive team, which works well for us.

How have you found the networking opportunities?

Chris: We’ve managed to have some excellent conversations during them. I sat down for lunch, and an hour later, I got to start eating it, so that’s usually a good sign! They’ve been fantastic; we’ve been able to speak to who we wanted to talk to.

How many 1-1 meetings have you had?

Chris: We have had five today, which have been formally booked, and then about the same, which were informally occurring. All these meetings will lead to a good follow-up. Before the event, we used the attendee profiling information to help us plan our meetings. We profiled everything we wanted to, and we’re pleased with how they came out.

How was the Fireside Chat that you hosted?

Chris: It was great; we got into the details around some valuable changes. I got sensational feedback, and the guys in the booth also had quite a few walk-ups straight afterward. All in all, great results!

I attended a few sessions myself and thought all the different approaches that other technology providers are taking were fascinating. It's great to get insight into how they see the market changing over the next 12 months, and it’s valuable to hear what we have to say.

How would you rate the organisation of the event overall?

Chris: 10 out of 10, there’s an exciting buzz, people are in an interesting mood, and I think that’s conducive to good conversation. Sponsoring will positively impact our business goals this year, and we plan on sponsoring again. We’ve been in good hands, lots of good communication, so very enjoyable.
