How is the format of the event?

You set us up for success and then it's about executing it. We have the profiling report with all the prospects and their priorities, the 1-1 meeting platform itself and then all the networking. There's a lot to take advantage of.

Did you use the attendee profiling before the event to select your top 6-10 prospects?

30, we selected 30! That list was brilliant. You can really zoom in on your ICP (ideal customer profile), and their priorities, and we could really see those potential customers. It helped a lot in actually making this event as successful and as efficient as possible.

How is the quality of the delegates been on site?

The themes of the sessions have attracted an audience that is very much in line with stakeholders or personas that we usually interact with. I'd say that they've been really, really relevant. I'd say we have about an 80% success rate in terms of being in front of the right, either decision-maker or influencer. And we’ve had no no-shows for our meetings.

Would you say that this event could have a positive impact on your 2023 business goals?

Yes, absolutely. All I can say is that today, I got a booking right off the 1-1 meeting, for a demo in two weeks time, which isn’t usual for events we attend. Usually, it's about going back, talking to the team, setting up. He said, "No, no. Let's do it now and it’s vital to get that meet”. He’s the head of his department so he said he’d bring his team in.

On your usual business timeline, how long would it take to meet this calibre of retailer?

It's obvious that this event puts you in front of people in 1 day that you wouldn't be achievable without the model and on your own. I'd say for my case, it's the type of people that are here. The stakeholders that are here are really key. Our company might be able to reach out to these types of companies but finding the right people there's a lot of filters in the way.

The fact eTail Connect brings them here and it's literally like you and the stakeholder. You're talking to decision-makers and high-level influencers. It's been one of the best of investments because these are people that are going to be able to ensure a good project and make decisions on a budget.

Would you say that this event could become an event that's important for you to attend going forward?

Yes. Again, that's just based on what I've seen today and what I've experienced today. All I can say is that the experience so far has been good.
